Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are between you and RoSession, and cover your use of rosession.com, the dashboard, the API and the RoSession module ("the service"). By signing in or using the service, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you use RoSession for a group or studio, you agree on its behalf too.

Early access

RoSession is in early access. New accounts join a waitlist and are let in over time. Features, limits and these terms may change, things may break, and we can't promise the service will always be available. The service is free during early access. If we ever introduce paid plans, we'll say so in advance and won't charge you unless you choose a plan.

Your account

You sign in with your Roblox account, and you're responsible for what happens under it. Keep your API keys secret (only use them in server scripts, never in LocalScripts or public places) and revoke any key that leaks.

Your games and data

Only add games you own or are allowed to manage. You keep all rights to your game's data. You let RoSession store and process it to run the service for you: showing your dashboard, sending your alerts, and keeping the service secure and working.

Members you add can see everything about that game. You can remove them, or delete the game and all its data, at any time.

Your responsibilities to players

You collect data about your players through RoSession, so you're responsible for doing that properly. You agree to:

• follow Roblox's Terms of Use, Community Standards and any Roblox rules on data and analytics, and the privacy laws that apply to your game;
• tell your players (and their parents, where required) that your game uses analytics, and honour requests to delete their data;
• not send chat messages, real names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, passwords, payment details or other personal information beyond what's described in the docs and Privacy Policy;
• not use RoSession to track, contact, profile or harass individual players outside your game.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• send fake or junk data, try to overload the service, or get around rate limits, storage limits or the waitlist;
• try to access games, accounts or data that aren't yours, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without our permission;
• copy, resell or rebrand the service, or scrape it;
• use it for anything illegal or that breaks Roblox's rules.

Limits and storage

The service has rate, size and storage limits, listed in the docs. Older raw data is deleted on a schedule (see data retention), and if storage runs low we may keep raw data for less time. Export anything you need to keep (most tables have a CSV button).

Roblox and other services

RoSession is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation. Your use of Roblox, Discord and other services is governed by their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using RoSession at any time: remove the module, delete your games, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or players at risk. A suspended account's games stop accepting data. We may also stop offering the service; if we do, we'll give reasonable notice where we can so you can export your data.

No guarantees

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Analytics are estimates: leave reasons are inferred from signals, revenue figures are estimates, A/B test results are statistics that can be wrong, and data can be delayed, incomplete or lost. Don't rely on RoSession as your only record of anything important, like purchases.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, RoSession won't be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or lost profits, revenue or data, from your use of the service. Since the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell signed-in developers about big changes; using the service after that means you accept them. Questions: hello@rosession.com.
