The question every developer asks

"Why did they leave?" Now you know.

Most dashboards stop at a session length. RoSession keeps the last things each player did and the signals around their exit: idle time, open menus, purchase prompts, FPS, errors, tutorial step. Then it gives every session a reason you can sort, filter and fix.

A tycoon after an update

“Our day-1 retention dropped. Where?”

The tutorial drop-off chart shows step 4 lost 3x more new players since v52. The new oven placement prompt was off-screen on phones.
−38%drop-off at step 4 after fixing it
A simulator selling a Starter Pack

“Is the popup making money or chasing people away?”

The prompt rate is 41%, but “declined a purchase, then left” jumped when the popup opened before the first minute. Delaying it kept both.
+22%purchases with the popup at 3 min
An obby with big servers

“Why do our servers die so early?”

Server lifetimes showed most ending empty within 40 minutes, and memory climbing to 5 GB before crashes. A leaking particle loop was the cause.

FAQ

Good questions

Does it slow my game down?

No. The module batches events and sends them every 10 seconds from the server with HttpService, well under Roblox's request limits. The client part only samples FPS and activity once a second.

Is it allowed by Roblox?

Yes. It uses HttpService, the standard way experiences talk to external services. You turn on “Allow HTTP Requests” in Game Settings. RoSession doesn't collect passwords or anything outside your experience.

What does it track automatically?

Sessions (join → leave with a leave reason), concurrent players, servers and their lifetimes, device, country, FPS and ping, idle time, menus, purchase prompts and Robux purchases, and script errors. Custom events, funnels and currencies are one line each.

Will Studio playtests mess up my numbers?

No. Studio sessions are tagged and hidden by default; flip one switch to look at them while testing.

Can my team see it too?

Yes. You sign in with Roblox and choose which Roblox accounts can view each game.

How much does it cost?

It's free during early access. Sign in with Roblox to join the waitlist: people are let in a few at a time, and early users hear first when plans are announced.
