Win the legislature or rule by decree — but let approval and stability slip, and the coup plotters gather. ▪ DIPLOMACY: Alliances, guarantees, sanctions, trade deals, foreign aid, and subversion. Manufacture a casus belli, or wear the aggressor's mark. ▪ WAR: Draw the front line, raise divisions, grind across the tiles, and drag the loser to a peace conference to take what you've occupied.
